The Little Village on 13th play cafe is a unique indoor soft play experience where you can relax and socialize in our grown-up cafe space, while watching your children enjoy hands-on play in our kids-sized village.

Meet the Owners

Michelle & Elicia

This photo says it all.

One is the spark. One is the steady flame. Together, they make a pretty incredible team, and they can’t wait to welcome you into their village.

Michelle is the loud one. Elicia is the quiet one. One jumps first; the other thinks it through. One fills the room with laughter; the other brings calm to the chaos. Together, they are the perfect balance.

Childhood best friends turned business partners, Michelle and Elicia have spent a lifetime dreaming big, cheering each other on, and proving that some friendships only grow stronger with time. As mamas, dream chasers, and adventure starters, they are now living a little piece of the dreams they imagined as little girls.

The Little Village on 13th was born from their shared heart for family, community, creativity, and connection. While their personalities may be different, their vision is the same: to create a place where children can play, imaginations can grow, and families can feel at home.

  • Elicia is a dreamer at heart. She is passionate about creativity, connection, and helping others see the beauty and purpose woven into everyday life. Through storytelling, encouragement, and a deep love for people, she strives to create spaces where families feel welcomed, valued, and inspired.

    She loves adding thoughtful details that spark imagination and create meaningful experiences for children and their families. Her heart is simple: to build a place where community flourishes, dreams are nurtured, and everyone who walks through the door feels a sense of belonging.

 FAQs

  • While not set in stone, our play cafe is best suited for kids aged one to eight. You know your child best, and we welcome many ages. What we do caution against, is older children who may “run over” the younger ones. 

  • While we hate to see families go, we understand that kids change, finances change, life changes, and you may need to cancel your membership. You may do that at any point through square in your online account. We will receive notification on our end that your membership is cancelled.

  • Party time! Little Village turns into party central on Friday and Saturday afternoons. We host private parties and therefore, close down for open-play business. Find out more details about our parties here.

  • We are very concerned about cleanliness! Every few hours, LV staff walk through our play area to sanitize with our safe and effective natural solution made with distilled vinegar, water, and an essential oil blend. Gets rid of bacteria and is safe for continued play. We have also been purposeful in our choice of toys that are easy to clean. 

  • Nope! We are happy to work with you to host baby showers, tea parties, just for fun parties, or anything else you can think of. With enough notice, we are confident that we can pull off the best party you’ve ever had!

  • No, we cannot allow drop-offs for events or for open play. We are not set up or licensed for daycare services, so your kiddos must be under your supervision at all times. But, Little Village is fun for adults too! We hope you will engage with your kids in our tiny town, as well as enjoying time with your friends in our adult cafe space!

  • We have hard floors through our space, so we prefer your kiddos keep their shoes on to avoid slipping. We are very clean and will sanitize floors regularly.

  • We have waivers in the shop for you to sign. We don’t have the option of signing online at this time.

  • At this time, you can purchase day passes and memberships in our shop for gift giving.
